The South Point project is an expansion of Willow Valley Communities in Willow Street Pa. CCS Building Group is the general contractor managing the construction for Willow Valley.
The first phase of 88 villas began at the end of 2019. Paradise Masonry’s scope of work consisted of footings, slabs and porches for each of the 88 villas. The villas were completed in 7 phases, with Paradise Masonry’s work wrapping up in June of 2021.
Phase 2 began in the spring of 2021 with the first of five, 24 unit, 3 story apartment building, each with a lower-level parking garage. Each apartment building’s footprint was 18,000 sq ft. Paradise masonry’s
scope of work included footings, parking garage poured walls, three slabs on deck, sloped parking garage slab, exterior patios and site sidewalks. Paradise Masonry partnered with Weiler Walls to complete the parking garage poured walls and piers. The concrete in the first apartment building was completed in October of 2021.
Robotic total stations are used for footing layout. A laser screed equipped with 3D Profiling is used for the sloped parking garage slabs.
The second apartment building started in September of 2022, Paradise Masonry’s work finishing in the spring of 2023. Apartment building #3 started in the spring of 2024 with building #4 shortly after. Currently, the deck slabs in building #3 are half completed. The footings are completed in building #4 and the walls are about half completed.
